G. Gibbons, states that discovery of a new geometry is not a genuine result
G. Gibbons (Editor to Communications in Mathematical Physics)
states that Commun. Math. Phys. publishes papers only with genuine mathematical
new material (apparently wrong statement) and considers discovered new geometries
in [1] and [2] (submitted paper was combination of [1] and[2])
as not a genuine mathematical new material.

Dear Dr Shahverdiyev
Thank you for submitting your paper to Communications in Mathematical
Physics. Unfortunately, however, I feel it is more suitable for a
journal like Classical & Quantum Gravity or General Relativity & Gravitation.
The point is that they are more concerned with the physical side of things,
where as CMP is designed for papers which are not only physically
novel, but contain genuine mathematical new material. In the case of your
paper the techniques applied appear to be rather standard differential
geometry and so does not qualify on this latter criteria.
Yours regretfully
Gary Gibbons, Editor

Dear Prof Gary Gibbons,
Thank you for your letter.
I understand that CMP is designed for papers which are
not only physically novel, but contain genuine
mathematical new material. The submitted paper
contains new mathematical material. The proposed new
geometry "General Geometry" and its special
cases("geometry underlying electromagnetism" and
etc.), except Riemannian geometry, are new geometries.
These new geometries are not the standard differential
geometries, if we assume that standard differential
geometry is Riemannian geometry, because they have
completely different properties than Riemannian
geometry.
Sincerely yours,
S. Shahverdiyev.

Dear Prof M. Aizenman,
I am forwarding you the letter I have received from
Prof G. Gibbons regarding my submission. Unfortunately,
I found his opinion about the submission
as an attempt to sabotage the paper rather than a fair
consideration, because the new geometries are proposed
in the second and third sections of the paper and I
doubt that Prof. G. Gibbons has not noticed them.
I have answered to Prof. G. Gibbons. Nevertheless, can
you please let the paper be handled by a different
editor, who will fairly consider it.
Thank you in advance.
Sincerely yours,
S. Shahverdiyev.

Thank you for your response. I am afraid I remain unable to accept
your paper for CMP.

Dear Prof Gary Gibbons,
I am writing this letter in order not to argue you
decision but to understand you motivation(s) for
making this decision. To be honest, I am confused
because you did not provide any motivations. I
appreciate the way of communicating when both sides
understand each other unambiguously. Could you please
provide motivation(s)for your decision.
Thank you in advance.
Sincerely yours,
S. Shahverdiyev.

Dear Professor Shahverdiyev,
Your appeal of the editorial decision by Prof. Gibbons was
received here. Having reviewed the article and the correspondence,
I must say that I fully endorse the decision by Prof. Gibbons.
This editorial decision was not an attempt to sabotage the work,
but rather a proposal to redirect it towards a more appropriate
venue for the presentation of the ideas laid there. I find
that the editor's letter summarizes quite well the relevant
considerations, and correctly reflects the journal's orientation.
With best wishes, yours,
Michael Aizenman
