| Hello Boys and Girls. It makes me feel good that you still remember me and you log in and browse this site. I may not be able to maintain this site anymore because I am no longer teaching at Holmes. I may revise this site to fit my current students, the Alternative Certification Science Teachers. Some of them may be your teachers now in high school so I want you to give them the same enthusiasm and interest you have showed me when you were in my class. I want you to continue your interest and curiosity in science. If you need a little help with your science fair project, I am sure your teachers can assist you and give you some guidance. Don't forget our pact: "show me your diploma"!! I love you all. | ||

Thank you for putting up with me last year Miss E. Even if I skip classes I always come to your class cuz you make our class so much fun. The best of all labs was the one with computer microscope and the kite contest. Mrs. Gaines and Mr. Meeks were fun too but you are the coolest teacher Miss E. |

Everything that needs to be covered in middle science is here. I should have known this site at the beginning of the year. My life as a first year junior high science teacher would have been better. I met Miss Escanilla at the conference last April 2nd. A very energetic and positive minded presenter and educator. Excellent website. Your work must be an inspiration to all. RS - Birdville ISD |

Hi Noel, Sharon Ross just emailed me and she said that the syllabus were mailed to the principals already. In the meantime you can print the online version of the 8th grade syllabus from this site. From the homepage, click on Teachers' Lounge, then click on Dallas ISD Scope and Sequence (now called syllabus) 8th Grade. The 7th grade syllabus online version is available at http://geocities.com/scienceisfun123/TEKS7.htm Ms. E. |

Hello Dinnah, I was in the "Technology in the Science Classroom" seminar this summer for the AC-program. Just taking a look at what you have. I am also interested in the scope and sequence for 8th graders this year. I have not been able to get one as of this date, and you know school is directly around the corner. I've tried "TEA" website but nothing. Can you help me? Thank you, Noel |
