Ms. Escanilla                                                           29/Aug/2002:11:13:20
Hello Boys and Girls. It makes me feel good that you still remember me and  you log in and browse this site. I may not be able to maintain this site anymore because I am no longer teaching at Holmes. I may revise this site to fit my current students, the Alternative Certification Science Teachers. Some of them may be your teachers now in high school so I want you to give them the same enthusiasm and interest you have showed me when you were in my class. I want you to continue your interest and curiosity in science. If you need a little help with your science fair project, I am sure your teachers can assist you and give you some guidance. Don't forget our pact: "show me your diploma"!! I love you all.
Anthony 'Spiderkid'   18/Aug/2002:10:13:20
Thank you for putting up with me last year Miss E. Even if I skip
classes I always come to your class cuz you make our class so much fun.
The best of all labs was the one with computer microscope and the kite
contest. Mrs. Gaines and Mr. Meeks were fun too but you are the coolest
teacher Miss E.

Jayjay Whuz   05/Aug/2002:21:03:13
Miss EEEEEE! Remember me? I was throwing away ma stuff from last year.
Well now you know I havent cleaned my room since May. That's funny. I
got this newsletter you gave us with some science stuff and your
website written so am just hangin out here in your cool website. I wish
my next science teacher would be as cool and smart as you Miss E. If
not I gonna go back to Holmes for my science project. Mr. Meeks said
that you are the smartest teacher of y'all. I love most the flubber lab
and our trip to environment center and of course all the computer labs and games we did and our kite flying
contest on earth day. That was the coolest of all!!! Don't forget the
overcomers of 2002!! We love you Miss E!

Everything that needs to be covered in middle science is here. I should
have known this site at the beginning of the year. My life as a first
year junior high science teacher would have been better. I met Miss
Escanilla at the conference last April 2nd. A very energetic and
positive minded presenter and educator. Excellent website. Your work
must be an inspiration to all.

You mean the WTC picture? You can find it at
http://www.snopes2.com/rumors/rumors.htm . I don't know if that picture
is authentic or not. See for yourself. But be sure you're done with
your science homework before you view the site. See you in class
tomorrow.

Hi Noel,
Sharon Ross just emailed me and she said that the syllabus were mailed
to the principals already. In the meantime you can print the online
version of the 8th grade syllabus from this site. From the homepage,
click on Teachers' Lounge, then click on Dallas ISD Scope and Sequence
(now called syllabus) 8th Grade. The 7th grade syllabus online version
is available at http://geocities.com/scienceisfun123/TEKS7.htm

Hello Dinnah,

I was in the "Technology in the Science Classroom" seminar this summer
for the AC-program. Just taking a look at what you have. I am also
interested in the scope and sequence for 8th graders this year. I have
not been able to get one as of this date, and you know school is
directly around the corner. I've tried "TEA" website but nothing. Can
you help me?

Thank you,

Noel
