Growing Salt Crystals

Students will grow crystals with household salt.

Have them place a small amount of water into clear containers. Have the students add the salt until the water will not hold any more. Have them place the containers in a warm place or by the window of the classroom. Each day as the water dries out have them monitor the progress.
