| | Author Instructions Science & Consciousness Review is an interdisciplinary forum for submitting and reviewing ideas in the scientific study of consciousness. The SCR e-zine is NOT a peer-reviewed journal, and the editors are free to edit and rewrite submissions whenever necessary, in their judgement, to reach a wider audience. As we put much effort into a fast release of accepted submissions, all communication is digital. Both articles and book reviews will be equipped with the relevant data on authors, their residence and other information. Each accepted submission is given a reference, in terms of name of source (SCR), Year, and Issue number. To benefit the general reader, authors are encouraged to present their arguments and ideas in a clear and vivid manner. All submissions should refer to the problem of how consciousness is studied scientifically, and why the presented ideas are relevant on this matter. As the SCR title indicates, articles that review empirical and/or theroetical work are most welcome. For further details related to the specific type of submission, please read below.Since SCR is an online community, authors are strongly encouraged to add links to URLs (homepages) that are relevant for the submitted article. Also, images, animations, keywords and a list of selected references are all features that makes an online article more interesting and illustrative for all readers. All submissions should also include detailed information about the author(s), such as full name, title, residence ( work place and its address), and eventually a picture. Both e-mail address and homepage URL are most welcome. All submissions are to be sent digitally (see relevant adresses below), and all major Windows formats are accepted. You may also submit pure text or HTML formats. Pictures and drawings, as well as a picture of the author(s) should be sent separately. After submission, authors will receive a confirmation on the submitted material, later followed by a mail that reviews the material, and whether it has been accepted or not (also whether it has been edited). Articles should consist of 1) a short abstract, 2) (if appropriate) a review of relevant theories and empirical findings, 3) a section for the authors own (speculative and tentative) suggestions, and 4) a conclusion.
