Heart  disease is one of the most common problems found in Thailand 
                 and overseas. Effective heart disease treatment must depend on skillful 
                 physicians experienced in heart disease diagnosis and treatment with 
                 sufficient modern medical equipment as per patient's need. Saint Louis 
                 Hospital established the Heart Institute with the purpose to prepare its 
                 readiness in treatment of all heart diseases, then recruiting medical and 
                 surgical experts, competent and 
                 specialized medical personnel in heart 
                 disease treatment. In addition, we also 
                 prepare lots of necessary state-of-the-art 
                 medical equipment to serve patients. 
                 Heart Institute has a full range of heart 
                 examination equipment, e.g. Cardiac 
                 Catheterization laboratory, Coronary 
                 angiography suite for X-Ray infection of 
                 dye into the heart vessels, and Balloon 
                 Angioplasty (Balloon dilatation of heart 
                 vessel), modern operating suite for heart surgery including coronary artery 
                 bypass grafting (bypass blocked heart vessel), heart valve surgery and 
                 correction of congenital heart disease, Exercise Stress Test, Echocardiogram 
                 and Holter monitoring equipment.
                             Physician members of the Heart Institute consist of 4 in-house experts, 3 of 
                 them are cardiologists, the other is a heart surgeon. In addition, there are 3 
                 consulting experts of abnormal heart beating, 5 of experts in cardiac 
                 catheterization and coronary balloon angioplasty, 5 of pediatric cardiologists 
                 and 3 of heart consultant surgeons.
