Q: Why is Creative Spirit so important to the Native film community?
A: Creative Spirit is immensely important, because these opportunities are extremely rare among the filmmaking neophytes in Native American Communities. I drank the water but Creative Spirit dug the well along with the exquisite talent that preceded me in this program. If these opportunities were not available, then it would be like burning down a library, because, chances are, those stories would not reach their intended audience.
