"I was thrilled to work with an all Native cast and crew and because of this there was such a strong sense of pride present throughout the production.
"'Pow Wow Dreams' was completed in less than one week in November 2006 and already it has been accepted into two film festivals. With each screening we as Native filmmakers reach a larger audience and continue to create more opportunities for ourselves as storytellers.
"It's so wonderful now to have a short film that audiences truly enjoy and can relate to. Though the film is about Native women, it is truly universal in scope and that comes through in our screenings. As Creative Spirit continues to grow, I plan on continuing to be involved and I look forward to the many Native filmmakers who will see their visions come to fruition."
