October 30, 2002- The best show I've seen of Firefly so far aired on 10/25/02. In this episode the captain and the crew are stranded in space when their ship malfunctions and they only have a couple of hours before their air runs out. The show is about Captain Mal and his great determination to keep his dream alive of being independent and owning his own ship. It shows how a Captain or any other leader has to be tough on those he commands for the greater good of the group. 'The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one'. Captain Mal considers the crew to be his family. The other shows before were decent but this one seemed to standout. 'Firefly' is like 'Star Trek' except it doesn't have any Vulcans, Klingons or any other kind of aliens in it. Only humans. At least so far it hasn't.
