Schweinmeister's DOOM Hub

Welcome to the Doom section of my website.  I've been making levels for DOOM 1, and 2 for a quite a few years now. Overall, I think I am an okay mapper and level designer. I still have A LOT to improve on in terms of mapping. My levels are pretty fun, not anything to write home about, but I still have fun making them, heh. So far, I've released two wads. I have PLENTY of unreleased levels that are not worthy of anyone's time, haha. It's great practice, I suppose. I think I've come some way in terms of map design from when I first started making DOOM levels 7 years ago.

I use a few different editors, but I primarily use DOOM Builder 2. I've used Doom Construction Kit, Edmap, and WAD Author, in the past. In my opinion, I think DB2 and DCK are the most easy to use editors in terms of linedef-based map-making. I also use XWE and Slade, and for Vanilla testing I play my levels in either DOSBox or Chocolate DOOM.

You can download my levels right below. E-mail me and let me know what you think, I'd love to read your opinions of my rubbish levels. :-) Thank you for visiting!

Levels:

Thetis.wad - Thetis, and Untitled_DM, are draft levels for DOOM II multiplayer. They're pretty fun, albeit old and I have improved since then. I do plan on finishing them eventually.

 Levels currently in development:

Facility: Authorized - After your successful attempt at folding the plans of Operation: ΔΚΦ, and destroying Delta-Phi's resource base, it looks like the big cheeses are at it again. They took some of their port technology with them and relocated to a new facility. Their premises resides in an alternate universe, a universe, where you un-scrambled a coordinate code that opened a vortex to the aforementioned universe. The laboratory doors have been infiltrated -- it's time to stop their clandestine activity once and for all, and save humanity from the wretched monsters that unearthed these bestial creatures.

Facility: Authorized is the sequel to my other level, Δ-Φ Base. I intend on making a third installment that will be for DOOM II. I made these levels with Doom Builder and made some additional modifications with XWE and Slade.
