| The words Hallucinogen and Psychodysleptic can be used synonomously in that they both mean chemicals which when digested in certain dosages cause alterations of the mind. Most of the time, users of hallucinogens report hallucinations and delusions (hearing and seeing things that do not exist or doing so in a distorted way).
