| As you have seen, there are pharmacological uses for ibogaine and LSD-25, which were proven through many studies. Ibogaine is still being used to treat the dependency of many drugs in patients but the use of LSD-25 in psychotherapy has been prohibited, brought back and prohibited a couple times. Due to society and governmental limitations, LSD-25 is not legal in any form, for any use. Not only is it prohibited in treating people, researchers are not allowed to study its effects. The last study that was banned was a study in Switzerland, banned in 1993 (Gasser). Although it seems this study had proven to provide 9 out of 10 patients with atleast mediocre results, apparently not using drugs that may interfere with perception is more important than helping people's lives (Gasser). | ||||
