ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Cedar Falls, Iowa.  By national standards, the city is considered to be a small one, but by Iowa standards, it is a fairly medium size city.

My father owns a Pentax K1000 camera with which we took all the family photos.  When I was 8 years, my father showed me how to operate the camera so that I could take some photos.  Since then, I was hooked on photography.

Although, I stopped doing photography for a few years, it was always a part of me and way for me to escape from the hassle of school.  Now that I am a 4th year student at the University of Iowa, majoring in Micrbiology Pre-Medicine, I use photography more than ever to relax.

At the same time, I kept hearing how Iowa was so dull and boring.  To combat this stereotype, I designed this website to show people that Iowa is not just corn fields. Iowa literally is a field of dreams.  It has its own beauty.
Some people view photography as a way of showing the beauty of people or a way of expressing their feeling at a particular time.  However, I view photography as a way of showing what people are missing in their busy lives.  A way of letting people escape for a moment in time from the hassle of their life.

With this, I do not see photography as a job or work.  Rather I see it as a way of relaxing.  I also believe that people should not have to pay an arm or a leg to enjoy what I enjoy.  Therefore, I do not believe in charging a hefty price for my photos.
