| DIVISION 1: Leadline - Open to riders that have not reached their 8th birthday as of January 1st. Not eligible for any other division in the show except trail. Handicapped riders of any age allowed. 1. Leadline - To be lead at a walk both ways of the ring. To be judged on seat, hands and suitability of mount. 2. Leadline walk - To be shown at a walk both ways of the ring with leadline detached. To be judged on seat, hands, control and suitability of mount. DIVISION 2: Beginner Equitation - Open to any rider 10 years of age and under as of January 1st. Division may be ridden English or western. Riders are not eligible for any other division in the show except trail, and Class 40, Walk/Trot pairs. This division is not open to prior year-end champions or reserve champions. 3. Beginner Walk - To be shown at a walk, both ways of the ring. To be judged on performance, hands, seat, guidance and control. 4. Beginner Walk/Trot - Judged the same as class 3. In addition, will be asked to trot both ways of the ring. 5. Beginner Walk/Trot Versatility - Judged the same as above. In addition, riders will be asked to perform individually. 6. Beginner Walk/Trot/Canter - Judged the same as above. In addition, riders will be asked to canter one side of the ring individually. DIVISION 3: Novice Equitation - Open to novice riders ages 11 to 18 as of January 1st who are not yet ready to compete in Intermediate or Senior Equitation. Judged on performance, hands, seat, guidance and control. Entrants may not ride in Divisions 5 or 6, but may ride in the Pleasure Division appropriate for their age group. This division is not open to prior year-end champions or reserve champions. 7. Novice Walk/Trot To be shown both ways of the ring. 8. Novice Walk/Trot/Canter Judged the same as above. In addition, riders will canter both ways of the ring. 9. Novice Equitation Combination - Riders will trot a circle, and trot or canter two fences (2�) in a straight line. Pattern will be posted. DIVISION 4: Junior Equitation - Open to riders ages 6-10 as of January 1st. Judged on performance, hands, seat, guidance and control. Entrants may not ride in Divisions 1 or 2. 10. Junior Walk/Trot - To be shown both ways of the ring. May be asked to trot without stirrups. 11. Junior Walk/Trot/Canter - Judged the same as class 7. In addition, riders will canter both ways of the ring. 12. Junior Equitation Over Fences - Shown over a course of 6 fences not to exceed 2 feet. DIVISION 5: Intermediate Equitation - Open to riders ages 11-13 as of January 1st. Judged on performance, hands, seat, guidance and control. 14. Intermediate Walk/Trot - To be shown both ways of the ring. May be asked to trot without stirrups. 15 Intermediate Walk/Trot/Canter - Judged the same as above. In addition, riders will canter both ways of the ring. 16. Intermediate Equitation Over Fences - Shown over a course of fences not to exceed 2'3". DIVISION 6: Senior Equitation - Open to riders ages 14-18 as of January 1st. Judged on performance, hands, seat, guidance and control. 18. Senior Walk/Trot - To be shown both ways of the ring. May be asked to trot without stirrups. 19. Senior Walk/Trot/Canter - Judged the same as above. In addition, riders will canter both ways of the ring. 20. Senior Equitation Over Fences - Shown over a course of fences not to exceed 2'6". DIVISION 7: Junior Pleasure - Open to riders age 6-10 as of January 1st. Judged on performance, manners, suitability, and way of going. May be asked to back. No martingales allowed. 23. Junior Under Saddle - To be shown at a walk/trot/canter both ways of the ring. 24. Junior Command - To be judged on the horse's ability to respond to a given command within three strides. 13. Junior Over Fences - Shown over a course of fences not to exceed 2'. DIVISION 8: Intermediate Pleasure - Open to riders ages 11-13 as of January 1st. Judged on performance, manners, suitability, and way of going. May be asked to back. No martingales allowed 25. Intermediate Under Saddle - To be shown at a walk/trot/canter, both ways of the ring. 26. Intermediate Command - To be judged on the horse's ability to respond to a given command within three strides. 17. Intermediate Over Fences - Shown over a course of fences not to exceed 2' 3�. DIVISION 9: Senior Pleasure - Open to riders ages 14-18 as of January 1st. Judged on performance, manners, suitability and way of going. May be asked to back. No martingales allowed. 27. Senior Under Saddle - To be shown at a walk/trot/canter both ways of the ring. 28. Senior Command - To be judged on the horse's ability to respond to a given command within three strides. 22. Senior Over Fences - Shown over a course of fences not to exceed 2'6". DIVISION 10: Western Horsemanship - Open to all western riders ages 18 and under as of January 1st. Judged on performance, hands, seat, guidance and control. Riders must wear approved helmet (any type). 29. Western Walk/Jog - To be shown both ways of the ring. 30. Western Stock Seat Equitation - W/J/L both ways of the ring and perform pattern to be decided by judge. 31. Western reining - Each rider will individually perform a pattern DIVISION 11: Western Pleasure - Open to all western riders ages 18 and under as of January 1st. Judged on performance, manners, suitability, and way of going. May be asked to back. 32. Western Walk/Jog/Lope - Same as class 30. In addition, riders will be asked to lope both ways of the ring. 33. Western Command - To be judged on the horse's ability to respond to a given command within three strides. DIVISION 12: Trail - to be judged on performance of the horse through a series of obstacles which may include any of the following examples: gate (passing through, opening and/or closing), poles/logs, bridge, backing through an �L� shape, dismounting and leading horse over an obstacle, carrying an object etc�. Will be held outside the main ring, and judged by a separate judge. Leadline trail class will be begin at 8:30 AM. Classes 34-38 will begin after leadliners have ridden. Pattern will be posted. 34. Leadline Trail - Open to riders that show in Division 1, side walker allowed. 35. Beginner Trail - Open to riders ages 6 - 10 as of January 1st and handicapped riders. May not have ridden in any other division except 2. 36. Junior Trail - Open to riders ages 6 - 10 as of January 1st. May not have ridden in Beginner or Leadline Divisions. 37. Intermediate Trail - Open to riders ages 11-13 as of January 1st. 38. Senior Trail - Open to riders ages 14-18 as of January 1st. 39. Novice Trail - May not have ridden in Divisions 5 or 6. Open to riders ages 11 to 18 as of January 1st. DIVISION 13: Showmanship (July ONLY) - To be held beginning at 8 AM. Entrants to be divided into three age groups. All groups will show at the same time. Volunteer judges may be used. Judged 60% on showmanship and 40% on appearance. May be held outside the main ring. Ribbons will be awarded in each age group. 42. Showmanship 10 and under 43. Intermediate Showmanship (11 � 13) 44. Senior Showmanship (14 � 18) DIVISION 14: Miscellaneous - Open to all riders 18 and younger. 40. Pairs Walk/Trot - English or Western Pairs are to be shown both ways of the ring at a walk and trot/jog, may be asked to back. No points will be given toward year end awards. Open to all riders except Division 1 (leadline). 41. Pairs Walk/Trot/Canter - Pairs are to be shown both ways of the ring at a walk, trot/jog and canter/lope. May be asked to back. No points will be given toward year?end awards. Open to all riders except Division 1 (leadline) and Division 2 (Beginner). 45. Warm-up/Clear Round Jumping � $1.00 per round paid in cash at the gate. Jumps not to exceed 2'. Rider chooses 8 jumps. If no knockdown or refusals are incurred, rider will receive a clear round ribbon. Riders will only be allowed 3 refusals. Sign up at the gate when you are ready to ride. May pay fee and hack twice around the ring each direction in lieu of jumping (no ribbon will be awarded for hacking). Maximum time allowed, 3 minutes. Will be held from 7:30 - 8:45. DIVISION 15: Schooling - This division is not eligible for year end awards. This rider/horse combination may not show in any other division. Neuther horse nor rider may be entered in Western divisions. Open to riders in senior equitation and anyone 19 or over. ASTM helmet and hard soled shoes with heels required. Chaps are permitted. Judged on the manners and pergformance of he horse/pony. 46. Schooling/Adult Walk/Trot (Walk/Jog) - To be shown both ways of the ring. 47. SchoolingAdult Walk/Trot/Canter (Walk/Jog?lope) - To be shown at both ways of the ring. 48. Schooling/Adult Trail - Rules and Obstacles described in Division 12.
