Following the disturbance of Asbestos during summer building works the school will be closed until futher notice.
We are making alternative arrangements for accomodation whilst the asbestos is removed and will keep you updated via press releases, a hot line with a pre-recorded message and this website.
There is also a email update facility available via a yahoo group set up in connection with this site.

For the next 2 weeks classes will be held at the Pavilion in Wicksteed Park and Woodcrogt Scout Centre details of which years are to attend on what dates can be found in the updates linked below. School Uniform must be worn, and packed lunches to be brought, however we realise that due to closure some items have not been received or ordered yet. As soon as futher information is confirmed we will arrange for this site to be updated. |

At the top of the list for decontamination and removal from the building is students coursework. Any coursework saved on computer. Students folders can now be retrieved.

Unfortunately the Heatlh and Safety Executive representative cannot be there but has promised a letter to all of your offering information and a way of contacting him if you have any particular concerns or questions.
Our Independant consultant, who is an expert in our particular problems and some member of staff will be present to answer your questions.

I am trying to arrange lifts for girls not covered by the buses, so if any parents are able to offer lifts to girls in their area please email me giving details of where you located - the street name and town, which centre you will be driving your daughter too be it wicksteed, klv or other and how many girls you can offer lifts to, if the lifts are too and/or from school and a finally a contact number so I can put other parents in your area in touch. I am doing this a parent. Liz Kearns
