Coal Storage Building
Here is an intresting building at the old Plymouth Cordage Complex. It is the old coal storage building. This building has tunnels under it. At the top of the building there is catwalks suspended in the air. One of the catwalks has a track where a cart used to go. The cart was a coal tipper. The building is complete with coal chambers. These are massive! Each room's floor is made up of 4 giant funnels. The picture below shows one of the coal storage chambers.
It's a shame that this building is going to be torn down.
