Glad you joined us tonight, for this splendid dojo fight between the Fuzhou Phoenixes and the Chengu Dragons. Your commentator of this match is Jade Tongue.

And the croud goes wild as the Fuzhou Phoenixes enter the building. Their first monk is Phoenix Fists: he is an average warrior, of course more skilled with his fists than with his feet ( Sp_3  Fsk_4  Fstr_4  Ksk_3  Kstr_1  T_4  W_1  Ev_5+ ). The second monk entering the ring is Leaping Dragon, a warrior who’s formidable speed makes up for his average skills and toughness ( Sp_6  Fsk_3  Fstr_3  Ksk_3  Kstr_1  T_4  W_1  Ev_5+ ). The third phoenix entering the ring is Standing Ox, he is probably the toughest monk ever stepped into the arena ( Sp_3  Fsk_3  Fstr_3  Ksk_3  Kstr_1  T_6  W_1  Ev_5+ ). And the last memeber of the Fuzhou phoenixes is Dragon Kick, he is the kicking counterpart of phoenix fists, an average monk, only more skilled with his feet than with his fists ( Sp_3  Fsk_3  Fstr_1  Ksk_4  Kstr_4  T_4  W_1  Ev_5+ ).

Now the Chengu Dragons enter their own dojo, the first Dragon to join us is Lao-Cho, he is said to be the Dragon counterpart of phoenix fists and we can’t disagree with the people who say so ( check phoenix fists’ stats ). The second monk is Ming-Li,a strong, thoughand hard-hitting monk, his only disadvantage is his slowness ( Sp_2  Fsk_3  Fstr_1  Ksk_4  Kstr_4  T_5  W_1  Ev_5+ ). Now it’s up to the lighning fast Tsumi-Yin to enter the ring, he is another lightning-fast monk ( check Leaping dragon’s profile ). The last Chengu Dragon to enter the ring is Tjang-Yen, the Dragon’s answer to Dragon Kick ( check dragon kick’s profile).

    *Round 1

And there goes the gong!

Lao-Cho enters the ring for the Dragons and Standing Ox for the Phoenixes.

Standing Ox takes the first strike, he punches through Lao-Cho’s defence, but lao-Cho shakes off the efffect.

A countermove of Lao-Cho through Standing Ox’s defence, but Standing Ox, just takes the blow and strikes back, but Lao-Cho gently blocks Standing Ox’s punch.

Another countermove of Lao-Cho goes through Standing Ox’s defence, but Standing Ox didn’t even seem to notic being hit. That’s one tough monk standing there!

He now strikes back, but doesn’t manage to any serious damage either.

And Lao-Cho strikes again, with a stregth that would take down a horse, but standing ox just keeps going on, this is a real war of atrittion people.

Again Standing Ox delivers a too weak blow, currently neither side gains the upper hand in the fiht.

Lao-Cho delivers another accurate blow, but Standing Ox proves his reputation.

He strikes back and Lao-Cho goes down!!

Standing Ox won the first round for the Fuzhoe Phoenixes in the Dragon’s own dojo!

   *Round 2

Now it’s up to Tjang-Yen to fight Standin Ox

Standing Ox strikes first, but is parried by Tjang-Yen.

Tjang-Yen strikes back, but he is too weak to do anything serious t standing Ox.

Standing Ox attacks again, but he isn’t strong enough either. He is just waiting for his opponent to weaken after several rounds of fighting.

Here goes Tjang-Yen, an incredible punch and you wouldn’t believe it, but he actually takes Standing Ox down, what a match! Round two is won by the Chengu Dragons, the two teams are now equally matched.

  *Round 3

Now it’s up to Phoenix fists to fight Tjang-Yen.

Tjang-Yen isn’t tired after the remarkable short fight versus Standing ox and delivers a mighty blow, but is blocked by Phoenix Fists.

Phoenix Fists strikes back with formidable dtrength, but Tjang-Yen dodges away!

Tjang-Yen counters, but can’t summon the strength to take down his opponent. It looks like we’re heading for a long fist duell, both monks are exchanging blows, but neither can damage his opponent.

Another strike of Phoenix fists, but he isn’t strong enough to harm his opponent.

And Tjang-Yen strikes back, but again a too weak blow as we have seen many in this match.

What am I saying about weak blows? Phoenix fists strikes with the strength of a tiger, but Tjang-Yen’s natural reflexes save him from a K.O.

He counters, but Phoenix fists is too tough to go down afters uch a blow.

Counter-move from Phoenix Fists, Tjang-Yen tries to dodge away, but Phoenix Fists takes him down in mid-air.

Phoenix fists wins the round for the Phoenixes, who are currently leading the match with two to one.

   *Round 4

Ming-Li enters to try to take out Phoenix fists. He receives a blow, but blocks.

He now delivers an incredible strong kick, but Phoenix Fists grants us a longer match by dodging away.

And another punch of Phoenix fists is blocked by Ming-LI.

Anotherkick of Ming-Li which would take down a yak takes down Phoenix fists as well! All of a sudden the fight becomes interesting again, with the Dragons on equal height with he Phoenixes.

   *Round 5

You don’t fight fire with fire, but with water and that’s the reason why the Fuzhou phoenixes send Leaping Dragon in the ring.

He takes Ming-Li by surprise, but doesn’t manage to wound him.

Ming-Li kicks back at Leaping Dragon, but too slow for the lightning-fast monk who has already jumped over Ming-Li.

He nw strikes from Ming-Li’s back, but cannot wound him.

At the moment we see Leaping dragon toying with Ming-Li, dodging all his blows, it doesn’t look like Ming-Li even has a chance versus is agile opponent.

Another kick from Ming-Li, but Leaping Dragon gently steps aside.

He jumps over Ming-Li and while in mid-air he hits his slow opponent in the head and Ming-Li goes down! Again, speed triumphes over strength.

   *Round 6

The Chengu’s dragons last hope now rests on the shoulders of Tsumi-Yin.

He leaps into the ring and immediately dodges leaping dragon’s punch. He strikes back, but Leaping Dragon shows he is his opponen’s equal countrpart in the art of dodging.

And another blow of Leaping Dragon is dodged by Tsum-Yin, who’s blow is now blocked by leaping dragon.

Leaping dragon delivers a counterblow, but he is blocked as well!

Remarkable, in this lightning-fast game we haven’t seen any hits yet, you can clealy see both monks rely more on skill and speed than anything else.

Ouch, there goes my reputation as Tsumi-Yin’s blow seems to be imbued with supernatural strength as he takes Leaping dragon down with a massive blow!

   *Round 7

Dragon Kick enters the ring the last Chengu Dragon versus the last Fuzhou Phoenix. You can feel the excitement from the croud.

Tsumi-Yin delivers a fast strike, but isn’t strong enough to take his opponent out.

He now has to dodge out of the way of dragon Kick’s kick, or he wouldn’t be able to strike back.

Tsumi-Yin now strikes back and although he hits, his blow is too weak to do anything at all –again-.

Now it’s Dragon Kick who delivers a very strong kick, but since Tsumi-Yin is the last of his team, he keeps on fighting for the honour of his team.

He strike back, but agin the blow is too weak, he shoul think about training on his strength now, he is fast enough to out-dodge almost everyone.

The two monks circle around eachother, observing the other one’s moves, Dragon Kick kicks, but Tsumi-Yin saw the kick coming a long time ago and blocks.

He strikes back, but is blocked as well. Another kick from Dragon Kick, but his lightning-fast opponent wasn’t there any longer.

Tsumi-Yin strikes back, but is blocked and with a fantastic counter-move Dragon Kick takes down Tsumi-Yin! This is a miracle, the Fuzhou Phoenixes won the game from the Chengu dragons in their own dojo! Bad luck for the Dragons, but the streets of Fuzhou won’t rest untill tomorrow morning, I suppose the fireworks are going off right now.
