About Xuzin
Now, this book 'as comen to an important point in me life: me boss said me 'ad worked 'ard enuff an' 'e said me could go an? live where me wanted. Me decided to live in Xuzin an' that me were going to be a yack herder. Now after several weeks, me is going to write a report about da life from a oomans (an' me of course) in these lands.
At first when me arrived in this land da oomans didn't like me, cuz they tought me was going to steal their srtuff, but me was lucjy me boss wrote a letter which said me was a nice guy an' one of da oomans said me could work for 'im. Me started as a herder from a small group of yacks in da steppes an' me soon found out that it is a difficult job, but more fun to do than me former job. At first me didn't know anything about da life 'ere an' when da wind from da chaos wastes came, me 'ad no idea what it meant, but now me knows: it means me need to 'ide da yacks an' find a safe place meself, cuz it means a lot of rain is comin' an' a lot o' wind too. When da wind from da nrth comes rivers are no longer on their original place an' cattle drown in them. Also me 'as learned to allways watch da 'orizon, cuz when da 'orizon isn't clear, but there is a thin yellow band, me 'as to bring da yacks to da stable an' run to da 'ouse meself. Other people don't get why me does this, but when a couple of hours later da sand blows everywhere an' da wind takes da trees through the air, they know why me did it. I 'ave learned many things about the life from a herder, me 'as learned me needs to be carefull so da yacks won't fight with themselves, cuz if they do, they will really kill the other one. Ah, me loves many things in this country, me loves da wet hairs, from da yacks after da rain, me loves da campfires in da evening, an' of course me loves when da oomans are telling stories, da oomans from this country 'ave much more imagination than da uver oomans an' even more than Hobgoblins.
