We're travelling to Boston today after watching the meet in Vermont, fun times. No, I am excited, I guess I'm just a little nervous because I really want to compete.

I seem to suck a gymnastics lately. That's pretty much normal I guess and I'd be doing better as a Junior, but I'm still going to try because sucking at this level will still get me into college especially considering that I have a 4.0 GPA and that should go up once I start my AP's next year.

11.05.04

It's really weird being a Senior and I wish I was still a Junior sometimes. I just don't think I am ready but Aunt Carol says that as long as I train hard and try my best at meets then that's all that matters and I'll get used to it. She's probably right.

Okay so like I'd say more but OMG I'm so tired!

The Olympics kicked ass! I loved Greece and can't wait for it to be my turn to try for an Olympic Team! The one annoying thing was that there was some weird girl who kept trying to break into the press box. It was freaky! You should have seen it! I think they might have even got some shots of her on tv because she was wandering around the stands holding an invisible mic and talking to herself! That was definitely one thing I could have lived without, but I guess the Athens people were REALLY desperate to sell tickets.

So tired! Sleeping sounds like such a great thing right about now! I have my doubts about making the National Team, so I guess I'm really in it for the experience at this point.

06.17.04

Lot's of work, lot's and lots of work. I almost wish that I wouldn't have to bother with Nationals this year, but it's pretty important that I compete because I'll be getting a little old for no Nationals Experience by next year. Pretty important that I get to bed 2 hours ago, so I'll talk more at you later.

Apparently my petition got accepted. In fact they liked my petition so much they gave me 200 extra bonus points in the competition. I guess you know what that means. I AM THE CHAMPION MY FRIENDS!

It's sort of telling that I'm writing my first entry today. Many other things have happened on many other days, but today seemed particularly important. You see, today is April the first; better known to my family as a free-for-all sort of day. When I woke up this morning I found all the clothes in my closet had been inside-outted; courtesy of Johanna. When I got to the gym I found out that everyone had been switched on the schedule. That wasn't very amusing to us but Aunt Carol thought it was a riot. Turns out she was behind that one. It was pretty good. The all-time biggest prankster of all didn't pull any because she was home sick today. Sad isn't it? You can always count on Lily for a good prank on April Fools Day but she really was home sick with the flu. I guess it was from trying to do too much or something. Knowing her the moment she gets back to training she'll let loose a huge prank claiming she missed today and wanted to be sure she gave it a good and proper hello. Weirdo. Anyway, I had a pretty good prank set up that I used Kate and Tess for. You should have seen the look on Ruth's face when she got caught in our trap! Oh it was priceless! See Ruth is a total stickler about her gym bag. Everything is in it's own little baggie, and by that I mean she has baggies for her baggies. It's creepy. So I had Tess and Kate go distract her while I replaced her grips with mine. You probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference except for the special little surprise I tucked in with them. She put them on and started swinging when this look of total anger and horror and just, you should have been there. I have never run faster in my life! And you know what? The palms of her hands are still bright red. It was great!
