The Death of a Frenchman, Episode One
May 10, 2003
The temperature must have been about the same as normal, and the alignment of the planets could not have changed much since the night before. Indeed, there was little reason to suspect that anything out of the ordinary--much less, anything extraordinary--would come throughout the course of the night.

But what luck! O Muses, you breathed in my fellows and me, that we may be inspired to create a masterpiece! O Calliope, that it was nothing short of poetic in nature! O Terpsichore, that the motions were smooth as a fine and renowned ballet!

What came of the night, then? What fine product resulted from the devoted work of a simple team of three destined to serve solely as writers, animators, directors, and producers?
