| I was born and raised in Ohio. I grew up in a suburb of Columbus and attended The Ohio State University for undergrad as well as graduate school. I have a Bachelors Degree in Human Development and Family Science and a Masters Degree in Middle Childhood Education. I am certified to teach math and science. |

| I love to play sports and I enjoy being outside. My favorite sport is probably soccer. I started playing when I was 3 years old. My favorite positions are goalie and fullback. I also enjoy softball. I normally play 1st base. My favorite winter sport is snowboarding. Unfortunately there probably won't be much of that now that I live in South Carolina. In my free time I enjoy going into downtown Charleston and learning about a lot of the historical sites. I enjoy photography and visiting the beaches. I also enjoy traveling. I have been lucky enough to drive out west 3 different times to visit friends in Arizona as well as snowboard in Colorado and Utah. I have never traveled out of the country, but someday I hope to have that opportunity! |

| My Goals |
| I love teaching and working with children. I believe that children at the middle school age are trying to figure out who they are and what they will become. These children are very impressionable and need positive role models to look up to. One of my goals is to be a positive role model to as many children as possible. I want to make a lasting impression on them and help them succeed. |
