A little about Miniature's

We have been working with the Mini's for 5 years now.
A good scorce about Mini's is Dr. Hartwell article.
http://www.messybeast.com/dwarfcats.html#buying
Below is a protion of Dr. Hartwell article.
"Genuine miniature cats come from breeding lines where the
trait has been, or is being, fixed by selective breeding and
where the cats are a consistently small size due to genetic
mutation or to progressive downsizing. Genuine breeders pay
strict attention to health, hygiene and to the homes their
cats are adopted into. Reputable breeders limit the number of
litters produced each year to ensure the health of the female
cats and will take great care to avoid excessive inbreeding
(damaging to the immune system) and to widen their gene pools".

We have a good idea at 7-8 weeks whether they are Mini's or
not, but we can't guarantee them until 4 months. There is
always the outside chance that they can shoot up at the
last minute, the line is so new.
Most people don't want to wait 4 months to get a kitten.
We understand, and will let them go at 8-10 weeks with
NO guarantee as to the final size.
Our teacups are adopted for $600 or less, Calico's a little higher.
After you have found the kitten of your dreams (color, size, breed)
the rupable breeder may ask you to send money to hold you choice.
"Not before!

Breeding Rights

We believe that you are responsible enough to decide if
you want to breed. Unless of course the female is too small for breeding.
If you do decide to breed we will be more
than willing to help you decide on the size of the male.
Breeding a large male with a Mini female can end in disaster.
