| You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart..." (Deuteronomy 6:5) | |||||||||||||||||||||
| Jesus said this is the greatest commandment (Mark 12:29-30). We've broken it. What a tragedy of man that we not only don't love the Lord our God, our creator, but that most people don't even pay Him the slightest attention. Should we not love the One who gave us sight? I close my eyes for a moment, and wonder what it would be like not to see, or to open my eyes for the first time - to see! The color! He is the God of blue, of green, of brown. He is the God of shape, and of movement. How much He has given to us - and continually gives to us each day. Shall we love our God, who gives sight, any less than we love anything or anyone else? | |||||||||||||||||||||
