Malta
This year Malta have sent a pretty odd song to ESC Semi-Final called "On Again... Off Again". The song is a mix between average pop, opera, musical and then we also hear a kind of aria-duet. The duo Ludwig & Julie preformes it very good and Ludwigs voice is very good. Now I hope and think that Malta will be seen in the ESC final. Anything other is a scandal.

1997 - Alla Pugacheva - "Primadonna"
One of my all time favourites. She is one of the biggest divas in Russia and came to ESC without any "open" competition, Russia have never used an open competition like Sweden. This year a jury choose song and it became Alla.
The song is some kind of a ballad who grows very fast. And without competition I can say that Alla had the best voice this year.

1980 - Kenta Gustafsson - "Utan att fr�ga"
When we talking about preformances this must be one of the funniest in the 80s. Kenta is wearing the famous "69 - Try it you like it" T-shirt and because of this we remember this song. Kenta is also famous for beeing in a lot of documentary movies ("De kallar oss mods" and "Ett anst�ndigt liv"). The song is playing in an own level and I cannot really compare it to anything, bus maybe a old-school rock-ballad would be the closest. 60s/70s he was living on the street with his friends at "Plattan", Stockholm, living on drugs, alcohol etc. In Mars 2003 he died at the age of 53.
