This zoo is renowned as one of the best zoos in the world. We thoroughly enjoyed our first glimpse at pandas. We took the Skyfari Aerial terminal for a great overview of the park and a bus tour for some additional information and views.

The zoo had about 20 Galapagos Tortoises
that were big enough to ride.
(no, there weren't tortoise rides, but that would be cool!).
The elusive Tiger came out just in time
for us to snap some pictures.
Doesn't this guy look like a gentle giant.
Truth is they're sooner kill you than look at you in the wild!
It seemed that we were able to beckon the gorillas over. They all just started roaming towards our side as we got there.
This goofy critters is an Okapi. Believe it or not, they're aren't related to zebras, horses or deer, but rather, giraffes!
