After waiting what seemd like to a lifetime in it's self, a motion picture based on the Marvel Comics super hero team The X-Men has finally arrived, but to properly review the film, you have to see it from two ways: a film buff(regular text) and a comic book fan(Italics). So without further adieu, here goes:

In the not too distant future, a group of young mutants called the X-Men try to stop Magneto, a mutant with the power of magnetism, and his Brotherhood of Mutants whose sole purpose is survival by trying to control humanity.
Ok, let's go to the nit picking:

*Wolverine isn't 6 feet 2 inches, he's about an foot shorter.True he may have been taller than his comic book counter part, but he did get the job done and made me believe he was Wolverine!
*Magneto isn't this old man, he is fairly built!Magneto was a Holocaust survivor. It seemed to be a very realistic portrayal of a man who has been through it, and a great performance by McKellan.
*Cyclops isn't worried about Jean's affection for him, he knows she loves him.Cyclops is a jerk who just screams with jealousy.
All in all, it wasn't a bad movie, but it honestly could have been longer. And originally it was! About 45 minutes longer!
