Tobey Maguire once again dons the red and blue (wait a minute he didn't stop in continuity) to use his great power for great responibility as he encounters the nefarious Doctor Octopus, a scientist whose mind got twisted after a lab accident that fused four mechanical arms to his spine. All the while in his civies as Peter Parker, he contemplates telling Mary Jane the big secret and trying to help out his Aunt May who has fallen on hard times after the death of Uncle Ben.
