High school student Peter Parker goes to school everyday. To him, it is like a prison as he is tormented by classmtes and feels as if he is the bottom of the barrel.
He has a crush on a girl named Mary Jane Watson, but he knows she is way out of him league.
The only person who Pete truly calls a friend is Harry Osborn, son of Norman Osborn, owner of Oscorp, a local research facility creating new weapons for the military. At home, he is cared for but his elderly Aunt May and Uncle Ben as his parents died in a plane crash when he was a toddler. They do what do with what they have.
One day Peter's science class goes on a field trip to a downtown museum. There they view an experiment involving genetically altered super spiders. One though is missing, but fate would have it that Peter is bitten by the bug.
With this, his world starts to change as his body's DNA structure changes involving that of Spider DNA.
br>Looking for money to buy a car, he enters a $3000 wrestling match with champ Buzz Saw McGraw and routs him, but he gets $100.
A crook steals the box office reciepts, Pete lets him by as revenge for not getting the prize money. In front of the library where Pete was supposed to meet his Uncle BEn, he discovers a crowd of people surrounding something. Turns out to be Uncle Ben slowly dying from a gunshot.
In a fit of rage, Pete, still in his wrestling outfit, chases his uncle's stolen car to an abandoned warehouse and faces the murderer..
IT turns out to be the crook backstage. A mistep later, the crook falls to his death. Pete disappears and perches himself utop a the side of a skyscraper. It is here that he decides that with his "great power must come great responsibilty" as his late Uncle told him. Return to the main page
