The worst films of 2001
I'll be honest: I didn't see too many bad films this year. So the list is marked down to three films. So here is my list of the films for one reason or another stole money from me in 2001 ranking from least cruddy to the one film I think not only stole my money but my time at the theater, some I.Q points, grew some wrinkles.....etc...
#3 Scary Movie 2:
The survivors of the first go around are asked to stay at a haunted castles for a weekend. Not too bad, but the first one seemed a lot fresher. AND they pay homage to "Hollow Man" but don't go anywhere with it.
#2 Zoolander:
A brain dead male model is "Brain washed" into trying to assassinate the Indonisian prime minister. Some nice scenes but pretty much blah.
#1 Freddy Got Fingered:
Why is it the worst film I saw this year???? Where do I begin.....I tried to find a plot to the film. I tried REALLY hard to find one. But I just couldn't. I think it was about a moron for some reason causing havoc on his suffering father. That's all they do throughout the film. The son hangs sausages in his living room to "get inspired", the dad yells. If that's not enough, the film...(err, let's not call it that, I'll just call it crap) the crap is just an excuse to show a gag. Example: the loser skateboards on a ramp. His lawyer friend hasn't done it in years, gets on and breaks his leg, bone protruding, which Green licks. Then they go to the hospital in a room with a prgenant wman so Tom can deliver the baby, bite the cord off and spin the baby like a towel. I'll admit, I did laugh, but I think I was laughing at how stupid this idiot was. AND at toward the end, I think Tom got bored with writing the film because in the course of 10 minutes his character:
1: Sells his badly drawn cartton for a million dollars
2: uses the money to knock out his father and ship him and how to Pakistan
3: use bull elephant's unmentionable as a sperm cannon on dad
4: dad and son are taken hostage by pakistanis
5: both dad and son held captive for months and bond
6: retuen home to "hero's welcome", the flag superimposed behind Green.
I swear i was dizzy for a bit. If he just wanted to do the Tom green show movie, I would have been happy with that, but this just won't cut it.
