Online Class 6 - Susan's log for the TWT enterprise
Wow! It was my last class - Unbelievable! I didn't think I was going to make it through the class, there was so much work. It is always a great feeling to know you have finished or completed something you have started. I think eeryone was excited for the final class and everyone had a lot of work to get done. We started our final class and Dr. S wanted us to reflect on how we are different today than we were when we started the class. We were suppose to go in order. Some students were ready and some were not. It always seems to me whenever I have to go it always gets messed-up. Dr. S was waiting for the two people ahead of me to answer there question and she called out their names including mine. They didn't respond, so I did and before I could finish, I was cut off. It was very frustrating to me because then everyone else started responded and I never got a chance to finish my answer. I suppose this is why we have our blogs, so we can complete our answers and finish our thoughts. So, in my response to Dr. S's question, my answer is, I am different today than when I started this course because I have learned how to plan and design learning environments by creating Wiki pages, blogs, webquests, websites, and a whole lot more to create an exciting, motivational atmosphere for students (Net 2). I have also learned how to apply technology in assessment and evaluation by creating rubrics to assess internet assignments as well as to engage in ongoing professional development and life-long learnings (Net 4 & 5). Then each of us in the class took turns on saying what we were going to write about in our final essay and what our WCP was going to be about.
I hope everyone will have a chance to view my WCP project on my wili page at susanchwcp.pbwiki.com, and give me their feedback. I want to wish eveyone in the class much success in their perspective fields and a special thanks to Dr. S. for her hardwork and dedication to the course. As hard as Dr. S. made the course, the better for me to really learn and understand and be able to incorporate teaching with technology in the classroom. Now I can truly say and change the title of my blog to, "Teaching with Technology: A course I have taken to teach students who are not more technologically advanced than I am."
I plan to have future blogs on how I have used technology in my classroom.
