Flower Arrangement: Flowers many, borne in compound umbels. Flowers: Yellow, up to 1/6 inch across, borne on slender stalks. Petals: 5, yellow, free from each other. Discussion:The
time of flowering is May to October. The Parsnip is associated with
dogbane (Apocynum cannabinum),
common thistle (Cirsium arvense),
snakeroot (Eupatorium altissimum),
and curly dock (Rumex crispus). |
