In addition to building volunteers, our affiliate is seeking volunteer recruitment for the Family Selection,Family Support, Public Relations Resource Development and Site Selection committees. CARPENTER CLUB:
The Carpenter Club is a way an individual, group, church and business can contibute on an on-going basis. Members pledge $45 per square feet and the levels are bronze (1 foot), silver (2 feet), gold (3 feet), or platinum plus (4 or more). Each time our organization begins a building project, an invoice is sent out and a description of the project is listed as well as the family partner who will eventually become the homeowner once the home is complete. Public Meetings / Events Schedule for 2003 -
October 23rd - Annual Dinner and Silent Auction at Riverview Inn. Cost is $40 per person and dinner choices are Prime Rib, Stuffed Chicken and Pasta Primavera.
November 17, 2003 Public Meeting at Woodstown Presbyterian Church, Woodstown begins 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be sponsored by our Resource Development Committee who will do a presentation on the different committees in our organization.

FAMILY SELECTION UPDATES:
The committee is currently searching for partner family for 207 Church Street, Salem City. A family will be choosen on Monday, October 20th! The committee will then begin the search for two partner families for 39 North Broad Street and 118 North Broad Street. For additional information on the qualifications in becoming a Habitat homeowner and to be placed on our application list, please contact 856-299-8422.
FAMILY SUPPORT UPDATES:
Miguel and Tracey moved in their home on Magnolia Street on Thursday, July 10th and are enjoying their new home. Daryll and Danelle Brady, the new partner family for 130 N. Broad Street, Penns Grove, are enjoying the building of their new home and working on their sweat equity. The home should be finished next Spring.
CONSTRUCTION WORK UPDATE:
September 22, 2003: Siding worked on, rocks removed & dirt rough graded, rough
electrical wiring done, porch roof finished.
Week of September 29th: Monday & Tuesday -- Shingles installed & plumbing started.Top soil delivered? Thursday -- work on siding & sofit, install sewer & water lines? Sat. -- Siding worked on and heating ductwork installed.

Our next visit from the Care-A-Vanners will be November 2nd through 15th. A Collegiate Challenge Group from Ithaca New York will visit in January.
It was decided by the Building Committee to make the goal of completing three housing projects in the year 2003.
WORK SITE SCHEDULE:
Our affiliate has regular working days on Thursday and Saturdays. Plese contact James Wenger, project director (cell #609-420-6952). If you have a group that would like to come another day, that can also be arranged. During times of Collegiate Challenge and Care-A-Vanners, we will be working all week long.
