The Bunny Trail

The ''Bunny Trail'' is a trail that runs just about one mile along the Schuylkill River and it is loaded with carp and catfish, and you will have most of your luck catching them at night in this area.

As you can see, I don't look very happy, even thought I caught this 23'' carp. Well, the reason I appear to be a little mad is becuase I looked away from my rod for about 3 seconds, and this carp bit into my hook, and ran upstream with it.........and my rod dragging in the water behind it......luckily, I was using a Rod-n-Bob's glowstick at the time and we were able to spot it in the middle of the river. With some good casting and some luck on our side, we snagged the rod and got it back, and somehow managed to still get the carp. The carp killed my new reel by dragging it into a pile of sand, but checkout the next 5 pictures from that same night, and what a wanderful night of fishing it was!

.

This is a 22'' carp pulled out the same night as the first picture on the page.

And this was also caught the same night, and this one was also about 22''....

This catfish is nothing spectacular, but besides the carp this is what we were catching the rest of the night.

This is just another picture of a catfish, this one and the one above were probably the biggest catfish of the night, but there are bigger ones out there.

sdAAnd it seems like someone always catches a rock bass at night!

This carp here was caught at the same place, but in the day, it was 22''
