The school was founded in 1995 in Sant Quirze del Vallès, a little village in Catalonia (SPAIN)

The school has got about 500 students and 50 teachers.

The school has got three floors.

Out of the school there is the gym and the canteen.

In the ground floor there is a music classroom, two technology classrooms and a big room called “SUM”. This room is used for doing various things: meetings, exhibitions, and so on.

In the first floor there is a language lab, two science labs, two computer rooms and eleven classrooms. At the entrance of school there is an information room.

There is a handicrafts room, a science lab, a library and eleven classrooms. There are rooms for the teachers of the same subject and a big staff room.

Easter holidays (from 17^th of April t0 24^th of April)

Summer holidays (from 22^nd of June to 15^th of September)

Halloween: In Catalonia this festivity is called Castanyada because people eat chestnuts and a typical dessert called “panallets”. At school the students of 4^th level sell cakes because they want to learn money for their final trip and there is also a disco party.

Christmas: There are some activities (disco, chess, skateboard competition, dance classes…) for the students. Each class celebrate “The invisible friend”. All the classmates buy presents for another student. But the other student doesn’t know who gives him/her the present.

Carnival: The students prepare workshops for the other students and there is a competition of costumes and the winner has a present.

San George: It’s a literary party. All of the students prepare tales, poems, and stories… for that day.

End of the course: The students go to a theme park or sometimes there is a concert at the high school.

All the courses spend three or four days and nights with the classmates. In first of Secondary we go two nights in October because students need to know the new classmates. In 2^nd of Secondary we go to the Delta del Ebro in June and in 3^rd we go to the snow. In 4^th we do a final trip to celebrate the end of Secondary studies. We go to Mallorca or Paris…

In the school, on Tuesday’s afternoons, when we haven’t got any classes, there are basketball teams, football teams and a performance group. During the break there is a chess club.
