Online Database of The Galaxy Senate

Located on the ever growing commerce city of Theed is an immense building where important decisions touching the lives of almost everyone in the galaxy are made. Inside the building is the Galactic Senate Chamber where thousands of delegates from across the galaxy gather to vote and debate on important issues. These senators help the Supreme Chancellor run the Galactic Senate.

Inside the Senate Rotunda is a huge amphitheater lined with platforms that serve as viewing boxes for the senators and politicians. When a politician wishes to speak, she or he activates the platform and it floats into the center of the amphitheater. Flying hovercams float around the platforms so that everyone can see.

How Does The Senate Work in Star Wars Galaxies: The senate meets weekly to discuss the current activities of factions, guilds, cities, planets and species within the galaxy. Due to the ever growing tension in the galaxy many believe the senate may be able to thwart conflict before it happens with one single body that combines it's forces to dismantle opposition to it's decisions. (example: The player representative from one guild has been reeking havoc on a player city, the senate takes a vote and comes to the decision to defend the city at a certain hour and beat back the forces of this guild to deter the group from performing this action in the future.)

How Do I or My Player Association Join The Galaxy Senate: Please send an in game email to Rabonda asking that your group be allowed to join the senate. Please keep in mind that by setting on the senate you may be asked to attend not only senate meeting but also gatherings the senate has to promote well-being among the groups at different locations. (example: The representative of the Tuskens may request that the Senate meets next week at their fort to meet a well respected Tusken Chief for goodwill. Different role-playing and social events will be voted on and agreed upon by the majority of the senate.)

Do you really expect the rebels and imperials (or other opposing factions) to keep their weapons holstered during such meetings: Yes we do, if for no other reason to set up a mutual and respectful battle meeting for the two groups. By a couple groups getting together and discussing future battles we can set up bigger scale pvp battles and organize them better. This makes for more exciting and more organized battles... thus once again proving Bloodfin is indeed the best server in SWG.

I'm not in a player association but wish to join the senate, is this possible: Yes if you are not in a player association, or are part of a player association but wish to join as a single member, you can claim a race, faction, city, or planet to lead. All though this could make things more difficult for you during senate events - you could always get other players to join your group solely for the purpose of helping you put on an event or attend a certain event.
