Neil Cutler: Keeper signed from Aston Villa on a free transfer before the start of the 2001-2002 campaign. Great shot stopper, he has conceded fewer goals than any other 2nd division keeper in his first season between the sticks, helped by a brilliant defence.

Jani Viander: Finnish International signed in February 2002 for £100,000, he is meant to be highly rated but hasn't started a first team match for the Potters yet.
