Driving Directions from Port Townsend _________________________________________________________ The Short Form (for locals): Head to Silverdale and go past it slightly to the NEWBERRY HILL RD. exit. At the bottom of the hill turn right (don�t go under the overpass) and follow the signs to Scenic Beach State Park. _________________________________________________________ The Long Form (for people less familiar with the area) : This is from Mapquest. Editorial comments are in italics . (Head out of town the way that you came in.) Go STRAIGHT to go onto RHODY DR / WA-19. Continue to follow WA-19. 11.8 miles Turn LEFT onto WA-104 E. 6.6 miles (For some reason, Mapquest doesn�t mention that you will go across a big bridge over Hood Canal. On the other side of the bridge, the road T�s at a light. Go right onto WA-3 S.) Take WA-3 S. 16.1 miles Take the NEWBERRY HILL RD exit. 0.2 miles Turn RIGHT onto NW NEWBERRY HILL RD. 2.9 miles Turn RIGHT onto SEABECK HWY NW. 5.0 miles Turn RIGHT onto MIAMI BEACH RD NW. 0.8 miles Turn LEFT onto SCENIC BEACH RD NW 0.6 miles End at Scenic Beach State Park Park in the first parking lot on the left, if there is space. If there isn�t, there is another lot a little further on. |
