Fictional battle of Seebach Zuerich in Sept. 1944

In 1940 shortly after the French Campaign Switzerland was invaded by the Nazis, because of pertaining airbattles between german and swiss airforce.
Switzerland insisted on the right to defend it's airspace. This however upset Goering and Hitler such that they invaded Switzerland in a swift powerful
tankraid. Not the whole of Switzerland was occupied but mainly the comparable flat middle-land including all the major cities.
In September 1944 the US crossed the border at Basel and near Schaffhausen. In mid September the US-Spearhead had reached the outskirts of Zuerich.
The Nazis were determined to defend the city with substantial forces including tanks.
One of the first battles ocurred at Seebach an outskirt of Zuerich near the airport. The aim of the allied attack was to gain the hills on the west side of
the city and the airport.

Characteristics of the scenario:
The map in principal gives both the attacker and the defender quite a difficult task, whereas the attacker must emphasize on synchronisation of movement and mutual support of armored force with infantery and artillery support.
The map contains all major battleground characteristics as:
- Wide open planes
- Forest
- Urban area
- Narrow crossings

General Information to the scenario:

Size: 2.4 x 2 km (Large)
Builded according to aerial photography and personel knowledge (Height data).
Forcedeployment: Same as in a quick battle: Attacker 150 % of Defender
Suggested play: With current force deployment play against human. Computer can't handle the terrain meaningful. When playing against computer force deployment should
add 50 % to the computer force, or decrease human controlled force considerably

Rules for a game human vs. human:

- Defender must not block the crossing of the brooklet near the busstop completely with Roadblocks (This cannot be cleared in CM), and thus easily deny the enemy any armored approach into Seebach from that direction.
- Use of Tungstenrounds must be limited (We limited it to 15 rounds for attacker)
- Artillery rounds must be limited to 120 % of default
- Use of Artillery must be limited (22.5 % of total points)
- Fortifications must be limited to 20 % of total points of defender (900 of 4500)
- Demolition charges for infantery units other than engineers should be limited (We use 1 squad per platoon)
- No Trp's in enemies setupzone
