| I really like the choice this month for the Art Response. It makes me feel a little happy and dismal about the tragedy that happened on 9/11. I think that these murals are done very well. That would be the kind of "good" grafitti that people would enjoy to see for a sense of hope and freedom. I think that would be something that people would pay to buy or get put on like freeways or highways. I think i like the murals so much because they are very colorful and give off a very bright and happy vibe. I think the first one on this page is my favorite because it shows such a wide emotion in something so small. It takes a lot of talent to be an artist, and i would definetly like to see some of these in New York. The talented muralists should be allowed to put these pieces of art all over the beautiful city to show how united we still are. I also like the second picture as well. Its very white and bright, and it kind of reminds me like an angel coming through the world trade center. I think that it like shows all emotion being absolved together into one thing. I really enjuoyed doing this art response, because 9/11 was a tragic day in history. I think that these type of murals will help us all remember all the men and women who lost their lives that day. |
