I think one way i will parent differently is giving my kids a choice of bed time when they are older. I think it makes the child learn that staying up to late just makes you tired the next day and you won't do it again because you have learned your lesson on your own.
Another way i will parent differently is when my children cry as babies i will not pick them up. I want to do this so then when they grow up they learn to get up and not cry all of the time. If you pick them up everytime something is wrong then they think something is wrong so they will keep crying. If you don't it teaches them to be stong individuals and they grow up at a faster rate
