South Causey Equestrian Centre, established over twenty years ago, is a British Horse Society Approved centre. Nestling in the beautiful Beamish Valley, we are 15 minutes drive from both Newcastle and Durham and 5 minutes from the A1. At the heart of the Equestrian Centre is the South Causey Hotel which enjoys a 3 key rating from both the AA and RAC, and is a popular meeting place for riders at any time. Whether it's with a cool drink after a long summer hack, or a hot chocolate in front of the roaring fire on a cold winters morning, South Causey Hotel is a great place to relax. The Equestrian Centre's professional staff are headed by Philip Moiser (BHSAI, BHS Hons) and Susan Moiser (BHSII), who's enthusiasm for all things equestrian has ensured a diversity of equestrian pursuits at the centre that is second to none. Riding takes place in our 50m by 30m indoor school or outdoor sand paddock. Additionally there is access to extensive local hacking and the added convenience of an on-site tack and feed shop. South Causey Equestrian Centre is a dynamic, forward thinking centre that nurtures a variety of equestrian disciplines for our customers enjoyment and instruction. |
