WELCOME TO SABAH COLLEGE DREAMS + TEAMS

Welcome To Sabah College Dreams+Team's official web site. Dreams + Teams is an international programme aimed at developing Young Leaders through sport. We run training courses for overseas Local Tutors, who then train young people to act as Young Leaders and organise a sports festival in their community.

 :: The Second Mini Sports Festival 2005 ::  

Write-up of the Sabah College Dreams + Teams Mini Sports Festival

On 23rd of April, 2005, a mini Sports Festival was held at S.K Mutiara. 30 Young Leaders of the Sabah College D+T organized the one day festival. The Young Leaders were divided into 3 teams, the Media Management, the Administration and the Sports whereas incharge the games.Each team consisted of 10 young participants. On that day, we leave school compound at 6.45 a.m and arrived at S.K Mutiara at 7.10 a.m. The Administration team decorated the venue. Meanwhile, the sports Management team members supplied the sports equipments and arranged it according to the game planned. Among the games that were played on the 2nd MSF is Dreams + Teams Idol, that required participants to sing one song. On the other hand, Media management, helped to set-up the P.A system so that the Emcee and the guest of honor will always ready to give out their words. We started the festival at 7.30 a.m. The name of teams for the pupils based on the world's most respected inventors. There were team Newton, Einstein, Hawking, Curie, Edison, Hickam, Da Vinci, Chadwick, Ford and team Bell. After the parade, the guest of honor officiated the festival. A few young Leaders from S.M.K Membakut evaluated us during the festival. After a few rounds of games, the Festival Manager brought the Guest of Honor to the game site. Whenever they reach a game station, the festival Manager will explain the rules and regulations of the game and show the guest of Honor how the game was played. The festival ended at 12.00 p.m. The pupils of S.K Mutiara was so tired but really enjoyed that one day festival. It was indeed a beautiful day for all of us.©
