Dreams + Teams Malaysia Camp 2005 Information pack for Young People, Parents, Careers, Guardians, Team Leaders, Tutors and Staff

Hello and welcome to the Dreams + Teams Camp information section of your pack. We have been planning and preparing for your attendance at this Malaysia Camp for many months. Part of this preparation has involved appointing and training school students for their role as team leaders. Each of you will be placed in a team of approximately 10 with two team leaderrs to guide and support you. For ease of identification each team is given a name and this will form part of your ID badge. For security purposes, this card is to be worn at all times. Some young disabled people and young people with learning disabilities may also be working with you in team leader group. The team leaders are also responsible for a great deal of planning before the camp and for delivering part of the programme. The team leaders will work with you in ways we hope you will emulate when working with young people in your own school and community. Our philsophy is about empowering young people to work with young people. We hope you will pick up this positive philsophy and use it in future, whenever an opportunity arises.
