Build-a-Bear

Sunday, May 14th we went to the Build-a-Bear store at the Trumbull Mall for our Service Project Workshop. Our group consisted of A.J. Rogers, Evan and Becca Cretella and their mom, Steven Lenhard and his mom, Debbie and Mike and Nancy Rogers. Our "bear for the day" was Amanda who was amazingly awesome. I think she had more fun with us than she has had with any group in a long time. She was really impressed to find out that we were building bears for the children of Spooner House. The Spooner kids will receive bears of all shapes and colors, koalas and dogs. We dressed them up and gave them each two hearts filled with love. The animals will be dedicated in church next Sunday before we deliver them to Spooner House. We all agreed that we REALLY want to do this again in the Fall.
