ANNUAL FALL RUMMAGE SALE
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14th

It's that time again. Time to get ready for the Guild's Annual Fall Rummage Sale. Start rummaging through your house in search of clean, usable items that are no longer of use to you, but may be a real prize to someone else. We welcome furnature, tools, clothing (on hangers), art, frames, books, records, electrical appliances, toys, pots and pans, shoes, jewelry, and other miscellaneous items.

This year's FALL RUMMAGE SALE will be held on Saturday, October 14, from 9 am to 4 pm. Drop-off times are scheduled as follows:

Saturday, Oct. 7 - 10 am to 11 am, old annex back door only
Sunday, Oct. 8 - 3 pm to 5 pm, front door of the annex, this and all other days
Wednesday, Oct. 11 - 10 am to 4 pm
Thursday, Oct. 12 - 10 am to 4 pm
Friday, Oct 13 - 10 am to 4 pm

Sorry! No items can be accepted on Saturday.

Set up of tables and racks is on Sunday, the 8th and this is a day when many men are needed. The racks are heavy and ther's a lot to move around. If you can spare two hours on that day, we'd be very thankful. Also help is needed on the day of the sale. The morning hours are always very busy. And at 4:00 pm when the sale is over everything must be packed up and cleaned up. That day a lot of help is needed. The week-long grind of preparation leaves a lot of the regular workers very tired and the thought of packing it all up is really depressing. So if you could lend a hand -- say from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday the 14th -- we'd be really, really in your dept. Sign-up sheets are posted on the stairway bulletin board -- hope to see lots of names on the sheets. The one thing to keep in mind -- ALL proceeds from the Rummage Sale go to benefit the church and its programs. So everyone wins.

The Guild is selling the perfect item! They have two year pocket-planning calendars for sale now. They're the right size for stuffers or for your own purse or pocket. They're $2.00 each and can be purchased from Corinne or other Guild members. Get yours while they last!

SWEATSHIRTS AVAILABLE IN BLACK

The Woman's Guild is offering "Sauganash" sweatshirts in a new color this fall: Black. They are also available in navy and red. See Martha if you'd like one. Sweatshirts sell for $15 and T-shirts sell for $9 and are available in navy, light blue and red.
