.This will be one of the many  projects of summer 2003.

One of the first interior restorations we did, We bought a new dash pad through Brothers for $119.00. This really cleaned up the dash of our old suburban. The Original Interior color was Tan and off white. With 4 kids and dogs we need a new darker color for the interior. We later found the Truck Shop in which found they sell the same dash pad for $44.00. There is a substantial price difference in these two restoration truck shops. Brothers is just about 15 minutes from our home, and the Truck Shop is 45 minutes away but well worth the savings!

Next we have reupholstered the front bench seat, with the help of the Truck Shop. We bought a 71-72 Bench Seat Cover Kit for $185.00
And with the help of some old friends we used their upholstery shop to refoam, and cover the seat. This worked out sweet.
(Use hog rings and pliers) it will really hold its shape.

We then decided to replace our A/C hoses with new ones. And recharged our A/C system with _______________
This was expensive but well worth it in the California heat. With the dual A/C units in our old sub we cruise in cool style!
