What with the Scavenger name? It's pretty obvious what your real name is!
 I use Scavenger for dramatic reasons...I think it sounds dramatic!:-)
I've used the Scavenger name for various things since 1986. When I went online in the pre-web days of 1991, I noticed that various people used Nom du Net's so I of course used Scavenger!

What programs do you use?
 I mainly use Photoshop 5.01. I've dabled a bit with Illustrator and Dimension, and I'm learning Bryce at the moment. I code the web pages with either the Geocities editor or BBEdit. All on a Mac, of course!

 What's with all of this Star Trek stuff? Are you one of those Trekkies?
 No, I'm not. While I enjoy Star Trek, I don't really associate myself with it as any kind of major fan. As for why I do so much Star Trek Art...it's where my audience is. I have a number of online friends who are huge Trek fans, so it gives me an area to work in and get feedback on.

 Do you do requests?
 Kind of. I'm always willing to hear suggestions for a project. If it interests me, then I'll likely do it. But for now, I do the things that interest me, so if the suggestion doesn't, then it's a no go.

 What kind of suggestions do you prefer?
 I'm game to try anything, but I prefer to stay away from the dark side of photomanipulation. My mom does look at this site, y'know.

 Dark side? What's that?
 Y'know, naughty stuff:-) I pretty much draw the line at PG-13 type stuff. I find most of the ..."adult"...photomanips out there to be a) lacking imagination and b) poorly done. I'd prefer not to be associate with them.
