| This is
about a school of witches and how the one who is always
making mistakes and getting laughed at (Mildred - Fairuza)
in fact turns out to posses alot of power and saves the
day. Its a typical 'picked on kid ends up winning' film,
I personally dont rate this very high, but when Mildred
comes up tops you feel happy that she has overcome the
other not so nice girls in her class. Considering how old
this film is, it has quite good special effects, lots of
flying on broomsticks! It is good to see that Fairuza has
good acting abilitys even at a young age, the kids will
love this film. If you are a fan of Mary Poppins you
should enjoy this musical witch fest. (I must admit I
personally prefer the more moody Return to Oz) Scav |
