"I hate to be controlled. That's fine if you don't understand." Sitting on the fence at school, Tonami rememberd what Sakura said to him yesterday.
Sakura came over and seemed happy to see Tonami. She climbed up the fence.
Tonami: "Hey, hey! You said that stuff to me yesterday and today you're a different person. You change your mood so fast."
In his thought, "I want to be together with Sakura so badly. But what do I want now that we're together?"
Tonami: "I don't think I can catch up with you."
He jumped down the fence and walked away thinking, "I bet she won't come after me. She is that kind of girl who would choose to be free even though she'd be alone. We really like each other. I thought I'd be satisfied when she noticed me and all the miseries would worth it. But I was wrong. Nobody can capture her wild heart. I can only chase after her with my unsatisfying heart. I can't do it. I don't have the strength. That's alright. I don't want to be locked up with my past. Sakura has already noticed me. That's enough for me. Although we can't be together, I will love her forever. I truly love how free she is."
Tonami now sat at a corner alone. Miyazawa, Arima and Asaba came across.
Miyazawa: "Hi Tonami! We're going to have lunch. You want to come along?"
Tonami got all nervous again because Arima was there and there was an awkward moment.
Arima: "Let's come along?"
The four friends sat down under a big tree. Miyazawa was making jokes to Asaba's name loudly. Tonami was still bothered by Sakura, he suddenly shouted to Miyazawa, "You're so noisy!"
Miyazawa: "What? What's with that attitude? I thought I could help you fit in since you're a transferred student. That's why I grabbed you along. You think I talk too much then you can just go!"
Tonami thought, "Damn! This girl is so mean. How can Arima like such a girl?"
Miyazawa asked Arima if things went well after he left the house (reminder: there was a typhoon so Arima was asked to stay over night in the Miyazawa household). Asaba got jealous because Arima spent the night there. Arima's face blushed as if he was on fire. Then Miyazawa and Asaba tried to pin up Arima's hair. Tonami laughed out loud watching them play around.
He thought, "No matter how down I am, when they are here with me I can forget about my sorrows and laugh again." Looking at Miyazawa's laughing face, Tonami realized something. He though, "Oh, I get it. Everyone thinks Arima is "special" and so he's being treated differently. Only Miyazawa sees him as a normal boy with the same age. The two of them are equally smart. They can rely on each other and also support each other. The "Arima" that everyone sees is just an image he's been trying so hard to put on. However, Miyazawa pilled away his "perfect" mask. Perhpas she liked the real Arima behind the perfect mask form the very beginning. Only Miyazawa... that's why she is that important to him. So that's it huh... that's something I can never archieve..."
The culture fest day
A student standing on stage with the microphone speaking, "The 37th culture fest has now begun!"
The Miyazawa's (Peropero too), the Yin Yang band and Maho's boyfriend were all here. Asaba came in the picture with his perfectly groomed hair and outfit (of course the roses around the frame too). Tsuki, Kano and Peropero ran to him.
Asaba: "Miyazawa's family is my family. I'll give you guys free tickets to my dinner show."
Miyazawa's father kept saying "no" violently although nobody was paying attention to him.
There was a student band on stage giving a horrible performance. The members of Yin Yang thought they could show them what real "rock" was like. They got on stage and grabbed their instruments. Kazuma started to sing. All of the sudden the whole school stopped and went to watch their performance. The next show on stage was going to be...
