"Does your trip carry any MYSTERY on board?" - Triumph of Love-

What is the allure of a murder mystery? Is it the need to problem solve? Is it because deep down we all wanna be bad? Is it the smoldering eyes of this semi-attractive television private eye? No, I think it's just cause us actors like to dress up and play pretend. I myself have a love for Law and Order, Clue, and murder mystery novels, so that PLUS dress up equals a GOOD TIME. I had my first murder mystery at my Sweet Sixteen birthday:

I don't remember exact details, but it was How to Host a Murder, and it was called "Archaeologically Speaking, It's the Pits." It was ca. turn of the century. From L - R in the back was Stacey as some rich Victorian debutante, Jon as an archaeologist, Tola as a female archaeologist, Esme as a bohemian actor, James as a visiting Texan, and Kim as another stunning debutante. I myself was yet another stunning debutante, and Anna next to me was a former General.

James wasn't totally into it, but Esme took on her part disturbingly well....So well, that when our characters were revealed to be lovers, it made us and everyone else question ourselves - and I fully blame this incident for my 'unhealthy' infatuation with Daniel Radcliffe. (Esme, without the moustache, looks just like him)

Stacey also was quite into the part (as there is an actress hidden deep within her bones, I know it! I've SEEN it!!) - braving the British accent along with us and using her fan like a weapon! In fact it may have been a weapon, I can't remember. I was in fact, the killer. And you will see, this became a theme future games.
Thus the Murder Mystery Infatuation began!!! Two more have I hosted, with URI friends, and expect more. But for now, feast your eyes upon the documentation of these mysteries past. For if you don't, I'll kill you. Powar and Greede! (October '04) The Wall St. Scandal! (January '05)
