    I am originally Italian, from Pisa, the town in Tuscany with the famous leaning tower.

I have been living in the wonderful city of Montreal (Canada) for the last 15 years and recently I became a Canadian citizen.

 

                                                                                        

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sometimes I like to sing using karaoke.

 

 

                                                                                                                                                                         

 

          

 

In the past I worked on a project in Neuroscience dealing with the nervous system of the leech. I was studying memory, learning and synapse formation in this funny creature.  

 

                                                                                                                                                         

 

 

Then I took part to a research project on the development of the nervous system of a "nicer" animal, the zebra fish.

 

                                                                                     

 

           

 

I have worked at the Montreal Neurological Institute for 3 years: I was part of a company studying acidosis and pain.
